I am presently using caine as a virtual machine using virtualbox hosted on my debian workstation. I am trying to create a shared folder from my virtual machine to my host but not having much luck. This maybe because of the additions to caine that devices are not mounted by default on boot up. Have you had any success creating a shared folder from a virtualized caine to a host. If so any advice would be appreciated.

I use remote file system mounter, I write the IP of host machine, the username, password and the mountpoint, so I can browse the host filesystem.
