CAINE V.4 and Vista Analysis
Giancarlo,
I had the opportunity recently to conduct an analysis of a Windows Vista system. I was unable to mount the operating system partition until I installed the ntfs-3g driver. I didn't hesitate because I was using a physical write blocker ( typically the ntfs-3g driver is for write support ).
Is the ntfs-3g driver installed on the latest version of CAINE?
If not, will it be?
It's not a big deal to use Synaptic Package Manager or download other packages I need to install/update, but my list is growing.
Thanks,
Joe

Re: CAINE V.4 and Vista Analysis
Are you using the Version 0.4? In 0.5 we have fixed the ntfs-3g issue!
